On September 27, 2023, Consul General Liu Hongmei in Khon Kaen was interviewed by the Northeast Channel of Thai National Broadcasting Television (NBT).The interview focused on China-Thailand relations, Thailand's visa-free policy for Chinese tourists, Thailand's agricultural exports to China, bilateral sports and cultural exchanges, and other related topics. The interview was broadcasted on  “Watching the Northeast” program on NBT television on October 2.
